It’s been a long time and we are still struggling to achieve the best marketing tactics. Most of us must have found many different ways to promote a business but with time all the tactics gets obsolete.

Right now it is the time when we re-create a similar marketing strategy that have been in use for decades. E-Mail marketing, yes! you might think that you have used all the resources and ideas to put email marketing to work but there’s more to go.

Email is one of the best way to interact with your customer closely so why not use the ‘feel good’ practice and do your strategic email marketing?

As my experience says if you write an email correctly there are 75% chances of getting a reply. As the digital boundaries has evolved over time, it is always best to keep trying new things as I always say. However, it is completely dependent on the marketers mindset how they are going to write their emails so that the reader gets some enthusiasm to read the whole email and get back to you.

Here’s a sample of two emails and you will understand what I am talking about. My motto here will be to engage the person and convert him. I am selling an Online course which costs $299 USD.

Email 1:

Subject: “God of Digital Marketing for $299”

Hi David,

We noticed that you were interested on our course. Here’s a great chance where you can be the God of Digital Marketing.

This course includes:

  • Strategic idea building
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Adwords
  • Facebook adverts
  • Email marketing

So, what are you waiting for? Get this course and be the God.


Email 2:

Subject: “Anything I can help you with? ”

Hi David,

Hope you are in the best of health and mind.

I found that you have registered with us few days back and looking for our Digital Marketing Course.

It will be nice if you let me know if there is anything you want to know about the course, I will be more than happy to help you.

You will find me available in this email whenever needed.

Looking forward to hear from you.


As you can see in Email 1, the subject line is the most negative part of it. Once you read that subject line you will never open it. It is always a good practice to add a questionable statement in your email’s subject line which you can clearly see in Email 2.

Once you cross the first boundary now you have the whole space to write a story.

Here, the first email is very direct to the product where the second one is more about getting involved with the person.

Here comes the method or understanding of a marketer whether she/he wants to sell directly or build a relationship with the prospect and from here on the interaction with that person starts.

There are too many ways you can interact with your customer but it is always up to you to choose.
